Our service
Kitchen Planning Haven provides independent kitchen planning and design advice. We are not a kitchen supplier, manufacturer or installer, and we are not affiliated with any supplier.
Packages and fees
- The Standard Package (€99) includes a 45 minute online consultation and a follow-up summary with recommendations.
- The Premium Package (€299) includes everything in the Standard Package plus elevation drawings, 3D visualisations, one design revision, appliance and storage planning, and guidance on comparing quotations.
- Fees are payable in advance. Prices include VAT where applicable.
Your responsibilities
Our plans are based on the measurements, sketches and photographs you provide. It is your responsibility — and your supplier's or installer's — to verify all site dimensions and services before any kitchen is ordered or manufactured.
Designs and visualisations
Drawings and 3D images are artistic representations intended to illustrate a design. They do not form part of any contract with a supplier and do not guarantee that a specific product, finish or price will be available.
Your right to cancel
Because you book and pay for our services online without meeting us in person, you have a statutory right to cancel under the European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations 2013. You may cancel within 14 days of the day your booking is confirmed, and you do not have to give a reason.
To cancel, simply tell us in a clear statement before the 14 days are up — an email to info@kitchenplanninghaven.ie is enough. You may use the model cancellation form set out in the Regulations, but you are not obliged to.
If you ask us to start within the 14 days
Most clients want their consultation booked in straight away rather than waiting a fortnight. If you would like us to begin within the cancellation period, you need to ask us to do so. When you make that request you are agreeing that:
- you expressly want us to begin supplying the service during the 14-day cancellation period; and
- once the service you booked has been fully performed — your consultation delivered and, on the Premium Package, your completed design issued — you will have lost your right to cancel; and
- if you cancel after we have started but before the service is complete, you will pay a proportionate amount for what has already been supplied.
We will confirm this in writing when you book, and ask you to acknowledge it before any work begins.
Refunds
If you cancel within the 14 days and we have not yet started, we refund you in full. If we started at your request, we refund what you have paid less a proportionate amount for the work already carried out. Refunds are made by the same payment method you used, within 14 days of the day you tell us you are cancelling.
Rescheduling an appointment
Separately from the cancellation right above, please give us at least 48 hours' notice if you need to move a booked consultation, so that the slot can be offered to someone else.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
